Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we process information when you use the UniLink wallet. We strive for maximum transparency and the protection of your privacy, following the best practices of decentralized finance (DeFi).

1. Non-custodial Architecture and Local-only Keys

UniLink is a non-custodial wallet. Your private keys and seed phrase (Recovery phrase) are generated and stored exclusively on your device. They are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party, including price and data providers, and we have no technical ability to access, recover, or reset them.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

Creating an account is not required to use the wallet. We do not collect personal data such as your name, email, phone number, or physical address. We do not have KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.

3. Blockchain and Public Data

Your public wallet address is public by nature. Any transaction on the blockchain (e.g., Ethereum, Base, Optimism), together with address balances and transaction histories, is visible to everyone. The app reads this public data to display it.

4. Third-party Services (RPC and Market Data)

To show balances, token prices, and market data, the app queries third-party providers such as Alchemy (blockchain nodes) and CoinGecko. Most requests pass through our relay server, which keeps the provider API keys off your device; it holds short-lived in-memory caches of public blockchain responses and keeps your IP address only briefly for rate limiting, without building profiles or persistent activity logs (our hosting provider may keep standard access logs under its own policy). Only your public wallet address and token identifiers are shared — never your recovery phrase or private keys. Standard network data (such as IP address or User-Agent) may reach these providers, each of which processes it under its own privacy policy.

5. Sending Tokens

When you send tokens, the transaction is created and signed on your device with your private key, which never leaves it. Only the signed transaction — containing your public address, the recipient's address, the amount and the network fee — is sent through our relay server to a blockchain node to be broadcast. Once broadcast, these details become permanently public on the blockchain, as for any wallet.

6. Local Settings

Your user settings (selected local currency, hidden balances, test network preference) are stored exclusively on your device and are not transmitted to external servers.

7. Children's Privacy

The wallet is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a minor has used the wallet, discontinue use and delete it from the device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of the wallet after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
